Types
Type A – clear pellets, approximate pore diameter: 2.5 nm, drying and moisture proof properties, can be used as catalyst carriers, adsorbents, separators and variable-pressure adsorbent.
Type B – translucent white pellets, pore diameter: 4.5-7.0 nm, liquid adsorbents, drier and perfume carriers, also may be used as catalyst carriers, cat litter.
Type C – translucent, micro-pored structure, raw material for preparation of silica gel cat litter. Additionally dried and screened, it forms macro-pored silica gel which is used as drier, adsorbent and catalyst carrier.
Silica alumina gel – light yellow, chemically stable, flame-resistant, insoluble except in alkali or hydrofluoric acid. Superficial polarity, thermal stability, performance greater than fine-pored silica gel.
Stabilizing silica gel – non-crystalline micro-porous solid powder, nontoxic, flame-resisting, used in brewery of grains for beer to improve taste, clearness, color and foam, removal of non-micro-organism impurities.
Application
A type silica gel is also called fine-pored silica gel, this is a nature products, the main components is SiO2, it is semi-transparent in appearance. During used, the SG can absorb moisture immediately and effective. Our A-Type SG contains fine pores & has large internal surface area. Having high moisture-absorbing capacity at low humidity, our A-Type SG is used as a desiccant for storing food and metal parts. The SG that we supply simply adsorbs water vapor in the atmosphere in a normal humidity range.

Application
- Fine Pore Type is one of the important adsorbents. It is widely used as a desiccant in different industrial gases, such as air, oxygen, hydrogen and organic gas, also can be used widely as a damp-proof product in the packaging field of apparatus, electric equipment, mechanical equips, textile, foodstuff, medicine, video camera, top grade dress, caps. Shoes, containers, etc.
- It is also used in dehydration refinery of organic products or air humidity adjustment, or adsorbing flammable and explosive gases from compress air, such as ethylene.
It takes the shape of milky white granules. Its average pore diameter is usually 80-125 angstroms. The specific surface area could be 300-400 m2/g. Its main composition is SiO2·nH2O. It does not dissolve in water and non-organic acid, but dissolves in hydrofluoric acid and strong caustic alkali solution. The specifications may be different according to the types. It includes Macro-pored spherical silica gel, Macro-pored micro-sphere silica gel, Macro-pored lump silica gel, column chromatography silica gel, liquid chromatography-use silica gel and activation silica gel.

Application
- Wide pore silica gel is mainly used for the dehydrated purification of the industrial gases, the clearance of the organic acids and high polymers in the insulative oil, the purification and separation of the medicines and as the crystal cat litter, the catalyst or the catalyst carrier.
The FNG Water-proof Silica Gel, the shape of white or grey granules, consisting of spherical type and lumpy type. Its main composition is SiO2·nH2O. which do not dissolve in water and non-organic acid, but dissolves in hydrofluoric acid and strong caustic alkali solution. It can adsorb humidity in the air. The FNG SG has very good mechanical strength.
