ICT Serial – The inert topping media has been developed to extend cycle length and low the pressure drop due to particulate deposition or top bed crust formation. The inert rings can replace ineffective inert balls used for bed hold-down at the top of the catalyst bed both in liquid phase and vapor phase in refinery hydrotreating and other similar applications. The bed topping is using inert ceramic shaped rings with a high void fraction to provide an efficient capture of particulates and other contaminants in the feed. The SINOCATA inert topping media provide a high void volume and good distribution to low the pressure.
Application
ICT-55 is penta ring shape with high void fraction which can capture the particulates and contaminants from the feed efficiently, it can replace the ineffective inert balls which has being used for bed hold down at the top of the catalyst reactors both liquid and vapor phase, such as the hydrotreating unit and similar applications.
ICT-55 has been developed and widely applied to commercial units and the performance proved that it can extend the life cycle of the units with lower pressure drop.

ICT-66 is a inert ceramic fluted ring with high void space that can capture the particulates and contaminants in the feed streams. The blockages and crust formation of the top bed will result in the reduced life cycle of the main catalyst bed, to avoid this, ICT-66 fluted ring is invented and developed to extend the life time significantly.ICT-66 is normally applied to load as inert top grading materials at the top catalytic bed of the units which is delta P sensitive.
ICT-66 is normally applied and combined to load with ICT-55 penta ring and other bed grading material for pressure drop relief, it can be used in liquid, vapor or mixed phase operations such as the wide ranges of the crust from naphtha to vacuum gas oil or similar use.

AD Series – AD series bed grading media are honeycomb shaped, high alumina, inert filtration grading disks designed and layered at the top grading layers of hydrotreating reactors and other fixed bed units to the pressure drop relief problems. AD serial honeycomb disks has open channels, high void fraction, also has very high radial and axial strength which is well suitable for high pressure applications that SINOCATA designed five standardized mesh size for different application. The mini size products are for small diameter reactors. The 10 mesh size is for large size scale and particles such as iron. The 25 mesh size can filter medium size fines effectively. The 50 mesh size and the 60 mesh size is designed to effectively filter ultra-small fines. Also we can design and produce customized products.
Application
ADM series bed grading media are honeycomb shaped, high alumina, inert filtration grading media designed and layered at the top grading layers of hydrotreating reactors and other fixed bed units to the pressure drop relief and feed distribution problems. This serial products are designed to replace the inert ceramic balls which are layered at the top of the catalytic rectors.This materials are alumina based which are processing at very high temperature, it has very good physical strength, high surface area, and many dimension controlled channels, which helps to divided the feed stream accurately and make the gas and liquid feed to contact more efficiently, also this material has larger void space which can low the pressure drop obviously.
