High Vanadium Pentoxide Sulfuric Acid Catalyst
Standard vanadium pentoxide catalyst contains approximately 6-8wt% of vanadium pentoxide. High vanadium pentoxide catalyst contains 7-9wt% vanadium pentoxide combined with a modification to the chemical composition of the active phase.The activity is 15-20% higher than standard vanadium pentoxide catalyst.
Cesium Promoted Sulfuric Acid Catalyst
The vanadium pentoxide catalyst have a strike temperature of about 400 deg C to initiate a self-sustaining reaction, but cesium-promoted catalyst has a much higher activity in the low temperature range resulting in a strike temperature 20 to 40 deg C lower than the standard catalyst.The cesium-vanadium-contained catalyst can also help to shorten the start-up time, reduce the consumption of electric energy and SO2 emission (far below the national emission standards).

SAP-75, a v2o5 catalyst, Dia.11.5mm, 5-ribbed ring, Bulk density: 380 – 580KG/m3, which is widely used to endure the tough bed conditions of pass 1 and pass 2 of the SO2 converter.
