Pt on Carbon
Platinum on carbon(Pt on carbon or Pt/C) which is a form of platinum used as a catalyst. The metal is supported on activated carbon in order to maximize its surface area and activity. Platinum on carbon is used for catalytic hydrogenation in organic synthesis.
Pd on Carbon
Palladium on carbon(Pd on carbon, Pd/C) is a form of palladium as a catalyst which is normally used for catalytic hydrogenation in organic synthesis, such as the reductive amination, carbonyl reduction, nitro compound reduction, and the reduction of imines and schiff bases.
Ru on Carbon
Ruthenium on Carbon is a ruthenium-based catalyst with numerous applications such as the hydrogenation of substituted anilines to cyclohexylamines, carboxylic acids to alcohols, allyl and heterocyclic aromatic compounds, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis etc.
Rh on Carbon
Rhodium on carbon or called Rh on carbon, Rh/C is a form of Rhodium as a catalyst. Rhodium on carbon is normally used as reagent for the converstion of nitriles to primary amines, and the hydrogenation of aromatic rings, pyridines, aldehydes and sugars.
