The natural gas can be considered as the main raw material for fertilizer and petrochemical industries, in addition of being the main source of gas fuel. Hydrogen sulfide is poison material with unpleasant odor and corrosive in addition of being poison for most industrial catalysts. Unfortunately, hydrogen sulfide is present in an appropriate amount in natural gas that affect the efficiency of catalysts used in fertilizer production. Accordingly it must be removed it from the feedstock. Several chemical methods have been employed for hydrogen sulfide removal such as phosphate method, iron oxide method, the hydroxide method, activated carbon adsorption method, promoted molecular sieve method and the zinc oxide method.

Application

ZnO catalyst method proved to be the most effective for sulfur compounds removal and H2S in particular. From the standpoint of high H2S removal efficiency, zinc oxide is more attractive than iron oxide because of more favorable sulfidation thermodynamics which can get very low outlet concentration. Zinc oxide catalyst(ZnO) is widely used in deep desulfurization application for gas phase like syngas, natural gas, off gas, bio gas, coke gas and liquid phase such as polypropylene,  naphtha or other light hydrocarbon etc.

Ferric oxide based deulfurizer is the original product which is a non-hazardous granular material used in the removal of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from natural gas, coke-oven gas, LNG gas, shift gas, food grade CO2, CO2 recovery, refinery gas, biogas etc. through batch-processing treatment.

Metal oxide(Mn) based adsorbent is developed for desulphurization to remove H2S, RSH and COS. In presence of H2, It can hydrolysis COS and RSH into H2S and remove the H2S with MnO actively, the MnO based Sulfur Adsorbent also works as reformer sulfur guard. Both oxidation & pre-reduced states are provided.

MSR-75, MnO Based Sulfur Adsorbent, Dia.3-4mm, Cylindrical Extrudate. It is for platformer recycle gas, reformer sulfur guard, LPG, NHT, Natural Gas, and other hydrocarbon purification applications. Operation temperature range is 280-500 deg C.

MSR-85, MnO Based Sulfur Adsorbent, Dia.3-4mm, Cylindrical Extrudate. It is for platformer recycle gas, LPG, NHT, Natural Gas, and other hydrocarbon purification applications. Operation temperature range is 280-500 deg C.

The metal oxide(nickel and copper) adsorbent works as the sulfur guard for the platformer which has multifunction to remove sulfur, arsine, chloride.

CSR-11E, Ni/Cu Based Sulfur Adsorbent, Dia.3-4mm, Cylindrical Extrudate. It also can remove arsenic and chlorine to very low concentrations. Operation temperature range is 80-200 deg C.

The metal oxides or akali within the activated carbon pores  can react with the sulfur compounds to form sulfides and sulfates. So the promoted activated carbon can are widely used in sulfur removal which can be regenerated in situ with hot gas containing traces of oxygen to restore the impregnants to the metal oxide form. If large amounts of undesirable high molecular weight organics are present in the feed gas, a guard bed of un-impregnated activated carbon is used.

T-SR-10, Akali Metal Oxide Based Sulfur Adsorbent, Form: Granule. It is widely applied for the purification for natural gas, off gas,  LPG, liquid carbon and any other industrial gas with bulk sulfur species like H2S etc. Operation temperature range is 20-80 deg C.

T-SR-20, Akali Metal Oxide Based Sulfur Adsorbent, Form: Cylindrical Extrudate. It is widely applied for the purification for natural gas, off gas, liquid carbon and any other industrial gas with bulk sulfur species like H2S etc. Operation temperature range is 20-80 deg C.

Metal oxide promoted zeolite are widely used in sulfur removal, especially the mercaptan. CuX type catalyst is Cu promoted zeolite which use 13X molecular sieves as carrier and has been used to remove mercaptan from aviation kerosene.

CUX-10, CuO Based Sulfur Adsorbent, Dia.3-5mm, Form: Spheres. It is for the removal of the mercaptan from aviation kerosene.

Hydrolysis catalyst is mainly used to promote hydrolysis reaction between carbonyl sulfide and water.
